    Yes, Aunty Ji is free for everyone to use! You can contact matchmakers without any cost. Users only pay for the profiles they want to unlock.

    Use our advanced search filters to find a matchmaker of your choice. Once you find a matchmaker, you can contact them directly to discuss your needs and preferences.

    Matchmakers can send you profiles of potential matches. To unlock a profile and gain access to their information, you need to make a small payment.

    Once you unlock a profile, you can access their details and contact the person's wali to start making arrangements to meet.

    Aunty Ji implements comprehensive safety and privacy measures, including monitoring chats for antisocial behavior, robust terms and conditions, and advanced data encryption techniques to secure sensitive information. We have also implemented software into our app to prevent users of taking screenshots or videos of other users profiles to protect users privacy, helping to create a safe environment for muslims worlwide. We also have a strict user banning policy to maintain a safe environment.

    You can subscribe to notifications from matchmakers and stay updated with new features through the app. We also offer the option to jump on Zoom calls with matchmakers for more personalised interactions.

    Aunty Ji is certifiably Sharia-compliant. Users only engage with matchmakers, who then contact other users and forward details at their request. This ensures no flirting or dating, just serious relationships.

    By strengthening marriages, Aunty Ji aims to address many issues within the ummah. Our app will inshaAllah help build strong marriages and promote a more harmonious ummah.

    Once you match, the other user will be able to view your profile and gain access to your guardian's or mother's phone number if you are female. If you are male, your number will be shared directly. Users are encouraged to take their discussions outside of the app, as direct user-to-user communication is not permitted—only communication between the matchmaker and the user. We also encourage all users to maintain civility and avoid any haram activities outside of the app.

     

    Licentious behavior is not tolerated on the platform. If we discover that anyone is engaging in such conduct, they will be permanently suspended from our platform.

    We charge users for several reasons. First and foremost, the matchmakers we collaborate with need to be compensated for their time and expertise, providing them with an incentive to join our platform. Secondly, we require compensation for the substantial investment of time and resources we've dedicated to developing this app.

    Operating this type of app incurs significant overhead costs, including hiring developers, administrative staff, and social media marketers, as well as expenses for marketing, software, and server maintenance. We also have families to support. We believe we offer great value for money and hope that our users understand the reasons behind our service fees.

    We encourage users to meet first over Zoom or other teleconferencing software to get to know one another better in the company of their male guardian or family members. Chatting online often lacks the interpersonal connection necessary for truly understanding someone. Additionally, we aim for users to eventually meet through their families, which increases the likelihood of forming a halal marriage and blessed marriage.

    Users have the option to delete their profiles, and we are not permitted to retain their data once deleted. For this reason, we recommend noting down any important details of profiles you pay for, as they may no longer be accessible if the user deletes their profile.

    Our AI system compares your uploaded profile image with the selfie you take for verification. Please ensure both images clearly show your face and are similar in appearance. Avoid changes in lighting, angle, or expression that might prevent verification.

    Matchmakers can send you profiles of potential matches. To unlock a profile and gain access to their information, you need to make a small payment.

    We have a no-refund policy. However, if a user ghosts you, we recommend trying to resolve the issue with the matchmaker. If the issue remains unresolved, and you have paid for a profile but have not received any response from the other family or they have had a change of mind, you can request a refund through the matchmaker. In this case, you will receive 50% of the refund.

    You can then contact us with all relevant details, and we will investigate the matter. If the matchmaker is found to have facilitated the refund, we will further review the situation and attempt to issue you the remaining 50%.

     

    We have implemented measures to create a safe space for Muslims worldwide. The app restricts users from taking screenshots of profiles or any sensitive data within the platform. We have also limited the ways in which users can dox others' information to the best of our ability, to help protect your privacy and safety.

    Islamically, the local imam can represent you on the app. We recommend finding someone who can serve as your shariah guardian before signing up to avoid suspension or disappointment.

     

    Amending a review is not possible within the app, but if you contact us via email, we'll pass it to our adjudication team and they will assess your reasons for this change in review. If approved, we'll amend your review, but there are no guarantees. Please note that we only allow one amendment per review.

    We limit the number of matchmakers per city and give priority to those already on the platform. If you're interested, it's essential to join early to secure your spot and maximise your benefits.

     
     

    We check the users' background and statements from the registration form. We recommend trying to re-register using a new phone number and email, and make your 'About Us' section more detailed. Share your history, mention your website, and if there's an available slot in your region, we'll consider adding you. However, approval is not guaranteed.

    Absolutely. We encourage all major masajid to join the Aunty Ji platform to support their local community in the marriage process.

    However, please note that the vetting requirements for masajid are the same as for individual matchmakers. Each masjid must appoint a female representative who meets our matchmaker criteria to ensure safety, integrity, and Sharia compliance.

    Our platform only supports Stripe and PayPal for payment processing. If these services are not available in your country, we recommend trying to register with them first. There are legal ways to work around this. For instance, Stripe offers the option to set up an offshore account.

    Although we plan to provide more information on this in the future, we suggest reaching out directly to Stripe for advice. Most countries support PayPal, but if yours does not, setting up a Stripe account is recommended. Unfortunately, if neither option is available, you may not be able to operate on our platform. We apologise for the inconvenience.

    Once you are approved as a matchmaker, you can start adding users to your profile by gathering their information and preferences. You can then subscribe to their profile and start matching them with other users.

     

    As a matchmaker, you can use our advanced search filters to find suitable matches based on the preferences and criteria provided by your clients. Once you find a potential match, you can contact the user and get their consent to share their profile with your client.

     

    Users can find and contact you through the app by searching for matchmakers. They can send you messages outlining their needs and preferences, which you can then use to find suitable matches.

     

    You get paid when users unlock profiles through you. When a user wishes to view a profile you manage, they make a payment to unlock it. This payment is processed through the app, and you will receive your earnings according to our payment schedule.

     

    We use AI systems to verify your user data against your documentation. Please ensure that the information you entered matches your documents, then try again. If the issue persists, please email us for assistance, and we'll help resolve it manually.

     
     

    You can share the profiles of potential matches with users once they have paid to unlock them. Make sure to obtain consent from all parties involved before sharing any personal information to maintain privacy and trust.

     

    Our platform has a no-refund policy. However, if you choose to issue a refund on your side for whatever reason, we have no objections. Any refund you provide will not be for the full amount, as our platform's service fee is non-refundable. Refunds are at your discretion and based on the circumstances and the refund will only reflect on your side.

    This could be due to some payment providers, like Stripe, which only allow payouts in whole numbers. In such cases, we recommend creating orders with even numbers and not odd numbers to ensure you receive exactly half of the payment.

Personal details should only be shared with consent, and any violations of our terms may result in account suspension. Our app includes software that prevents users from taking screenshots or videos, helping to create a safe and wholesome environment within the platform.

    If there is an issue with a match or any concerns arise, users can report the issue through the in-app reporting system located within the chat page. We have a system in place to address and resolve any problems promptly. Matchmakers are encouraged to facilitate positive experiences and address any issues professionally.

If you encounter issues with the verification process—such as ID/passport, utility bill, or selfie verification—we recommend reviewing the information you entered. Our AI systems compare your data with the details on your ID or passport. If the AI detects any discrepancies, you will receive an error message indicating that we cannot verify your details. We suggest reviewing all the information you entered to ensure it matches the data on your utility bill, ID, or passport.

    Yes, a customer can amend a review after they leave it by contacting our customer service team. The request will go through an adjudication process, and if we find a valid reason, we'll amend it for them. Please note that we only allow one amendment per review. We encourage our matchmakers to provide a good service at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.
